Our mission is to empower all users to grow their audiences, network and revenues without being stifled by the platform.
Our Community Guidelines are not here to inhibit your ability to express yourself or guide public conversations, but simply to create a nurturing environment where any and all conversations can take place in a healthy and respectful way.
Because of the nature of running a social platform, our moderation protocols and recommendation methods will not be perfect. We at Bamboo work tirelessly to refine how we monitor and manage the platform, and it’s all based on feedback from the community. Responsibility
REMINDER: All users are responsible for what they share and post. Bamboo is responsible for creating a healthy and positive community that welcomes civil discourse. In return, users are responsible for what and how they post on the platform.
"Diversity of content and opinions" means we do NOT discriminate based on political persuasions, cognitive biases, sexuality, medical circumstances, gender, visual attributes, ethnicity, nationality, age, social group or religion.
"Freedom of speech and expression" is your right to communicate your thoughts, feelings and ideas without facing persecution from the platform.
"Persecution" means hostility and ill-treatment. Bamboo does not publicly scrutinize any user regardless of their status with the platform.

"Independence and unity" is about respecting ourselves and others that are not like us, and find a way to co-exist without hostility against one another.

Keeping Young Users Safe
Bamboo is committed to the safety of users under 18, often referred to as "youth". To join our platform, users must be at least 13 years old, though some regions may have additional age requirements. Accounts found to be below the age requirement will face a ban or account deletion, with the option to appeal. Community members can also report suspected underage users through the app or online.
The protection of young users from potentially harmful content is paramount. We prohibit content that might expose them to exploitation or any form of harm, such as child abuse, bullying, dangerous challenges, or the promotion of substance use. Offenders will face bans, which may extend to any associated accounts.
To provide youth with a safe space for self-exploration, we have:

If we spot accounts or posts that have suspicious metrics, we'll remove any fake followers or likes tied to them.
Content that tries to mislead or trick users into gaining more followers, likes, or views will not be considered for the DF.
